Our Partners

Home Our Partners

United Technical School collaborates with industry partners in Lalitpur that help provide real job experience for our students instead of training in the classroom. All partners below play direct roles in internships, practicals, or equipment training for UTS students.

United Coffee Club

united coffee club

United Coffee Club is an internship and placement partner of UTS Barista and Bakery programs. The students receive practical training in a functioning cafe and bakery kitchen rather than in labs only. This partnership allows UTS students to gain customer service, espresso and baking practical experience prior to applying for positions. It provides a direct path to placement for Barista and Bakery trainees post-completion of courses.

Himalayan Lekali Coffee Roasters

United Technical School partners with Lekali himalayan coffee roasters

Himalayan Lekali Coffee Roasters provides roasted coffee beans and coffee source experience to the United Technical School Barista program. The students learn about the coffee journey from farming in Nepal to the roasting facility to a cup. This industry exposure helps students understand the coffee supply chain and the importance of quality at every stage, rather than focusing only on operating espresso machines. It provides UTS Barista students with a more comprehensive and practical understanding of the coffee industry.

Hub International Education

united technical school collab partner hub international

Hub International Education is UTS’s study abroad partner. Together, they run the Barista with IELTS/PTE bundle course for students who want to work or study overseas after training. Students get language test preparation alongside their barista certification in one program. This option suits +2 and above graduates planning international careers in hospitality.

The Burger House and Crunchy Fried Chicken, Mahalaxmisthan

Burger House and Crunchy Fried Chicken is one of the internship and placement partners for UTS Cooking and Barista students. Cooking students can train in food preparation, kitchen operations, and efficiency in serving at an actual restaurant’s kitchen, whereas Barista students will have counter training in a fast-paced food-service environment. This will help students gain practical experience from the theoretical knowledge that they have acquired at the university.

MAG (Music Art Gallery ) Cafe

MAG is a cafe, music venue, and art gallery, and an internship partner for UTS Barista students. Students train behind a live counter inside a working gallery and music space, not a standard cafe setting. That environment exposes trainees to a side of hospitality most barista internships don’t cover: hosting events, working around live performances, and serving guests in a creative venue. It gives Barista students a placement path that’s different from UTS’s other coffee partners.

La Marzocco

la-marzacoo-united-technical-school-machine-partner

La Marzocco is the espresso machine used by UTS Barista students during their practical classes. The students learn to operate the same high-end espresso machines that are available in the best coffee shops in Nepal. Thus, when they graduate, they will be more equipped to work in coffee shops since they have used similar machines in class.
