In the UTS Barista Skills Crash Course, you will learn Insightful lessons on dialing in a grinder to recipe, pouring espresso, foaming and texturing milk from our expert coffee connoisseurs. You will gain a deeper understanding of the coffee journey from farm to cup, its varieties and processing and harvesting techniques, and how they impact flavor. You will learn to make an espresso coffee recipe from scratch, understand how to create a balanced espresso, and identify the roasting level and taste to adapt and adjust the recipe accordingly. You will get further training on espresso machines, grinders, and specialty coffee brewing equipment like Aeropress, V60 coffee dripper, Chemex, French press, etc. This course will cover everything needed to thrive within the hospitality industry and attend to the finer details of excellent customer service.

Yes, you will receive a certificate after completing the barista course. After the completion of the course, there will be a small graduation ceremony where students will receive a CTEVT Barista Certificate and can also apply for a CTEVT Level 1 certificate.

Barista training is done from 18 days to 1 month including theory class, Espresso Brewing Techniques, Milk Steaming and Latte Art, Coffee Roasting Fundamentals, Customer Service and Cafe, Management, Espresso Machine Maintenance, Coffee History and Culture, Coffee Tasting and Cupping, Health and Safety Standards, Coffee Business Entrepreneurship etc.

The course fee may start from NPR 10,000 but the fee varies from place to place and also according to the duration of the course.
