SEE दियौ? अब के गर्ने? If this question is running through your mind right now, you are not alone. Every year, thousands of students finish their SEE exam and find themselves with months of free time and no clear direction.

At United Technical School, we have the answer. Bakery training after SEE is now open for admission, and this could be the most productive decision you make before your plus two begins.

SEE सकियो! अब के गर्ने? (SEE Is Done, What’s Next?)

You walked out of your last exam. Your parents are asking about your plans. And honestly, you do not know what to do for the next three to four months. This feeling is completely normal. But what you do with this time will make a real difference.

The 3 to 4 Month Gap Most SEE Students Waste

After SEE, most students wait anywhere from three to four months before results are published and college admissions begin. That is roughly 90 to 120 days. Most students spend this time watching television and scrolling social media. And there is nothing wrong with resting after a tough exam, but after the first two weeks, that rest quickly turns into restlessness.

The students who use this window wisely are the ones who come out ahead. They learn a skill, earn money, and build confidence. By the time results come out, they already have something real to show for their time.

Also, wondering which academy/college is the best +2 college in Kathmandu after SEE? Don’t worry, we’ve got United Academy, known for the best +2 college in Kathmandu and Lalitpur, located at the center of the Kathmandu valley.

Why Skill Training Is Better Than Waiting

Think about two students who both appeared for SEE at the same time. Student A spends four months at home. Student B joins a bakery training course. By the time results are out, Student B has a certificate, hands-on kitchen experience, and possibly some income from baking orders.

A short-term skill course does not just teach you something useful. It gives you structure, builds your confidence, and adds real value to your profile before you even start your plus two.

Why Bakery Training Is a Smart Choice After SEE

Bakery is one of the rare skills that fits perfectly into the SEE gap. The training is short enough to complete before +2 begins. It is practical and hands-on, so you are not sitting in a classroom memorizing theory.

The career options are wide, from working in hotels and restaurants to starting your own home bakery. And the demand for trained bakers in Nepal is growing every year. You do not need any prior experience. You just need to show up with the willingness to learn.

Bakery is just one of many practical options available right now. If you want to compare your choices before deciding, check out our full list of short-term courses after SEE in Nepal.

Introduction and Mission

We are a technical training institute committed to producing skilled, confident, and employable graduates. Since our establishment, we have trained hundreds of students who have gone on to build careers in Nepal’s hospitality industry, start their own businesses, and work abroad in some of the best hotels and bakeries.

Our mission is not just to teach baking. It is to give every student the confidence to walk into any kitchen, any business, and any opportunity with the skills they need to succeed.

CTEVT Affiliation and Recognition

Our bakery training is recognized under CTEVT guidelines.

This means:

  • Your certificate has value
  • You can use it for jobs
  • It helps in Nepal and abroad

CTEVT affilated certifictae given to the students after completing course

Training Facilities and Modern Kitchen

Our training kitchen is equipped with commercial-grade baking equipment that mirrors what you will find in actual bakeries, hotels, and restaurants. From professional ovens and dough mixers to decorating tools and display counters, our students learn on real equipment from day one.

We believe the best way to learn baking is to actually bake, which is why our classes are built around kitchen sessions, not lectures.

Bakery Training Course Overview

Our bakery training program is designed for students who are serious about building a career or earning a living through baking. Whether you want to work in a hotel, open your own bakery, or master a skill that will serve you for life, this course covers everything you need.

Course Duration and Batch Timing

The bakery training course runs for 1 to 3 months, according to your subscription. Classes are available in both morning and evening batches so you can choose the timing that works for you.

Sessions run six days a week, each one a hands-on kitchen session led by our experienced instructors. The medium of instruction is primarily Nepali, with English terms introduced as needed.

What You Will Learn

Our curriculum covers everything from the basics of baking to advanced decoration and presentation. Here is a breakdown of what the course includes:

Cakes and Pastries: You will learn to prepare sponge cakes, butter cakes, muffins, cupcakes, brownies, tarts, pies, croissants, and a range of classic desserts.

Cake Decoration: You will learn frosting techniques, piping, fondant work, and creative decoration. These skills are especially valuable for anyone who wants to run a cake-order or home bakery business.

Food Safety and Hygiene: You will learn how to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen, handle food properly, store ingredients correctly, and follow the safety standards every commercial kitchen requires.

Practical Training Approach

Our training is 80% practical and 20% theory. You will spend most of your time in the kitchen, not in a classroom. Our class sizes are small so every student gets direct attention from the instructor.

You will receive feedback on your work and the kind of individual guidance that actually helps you improve.

Our CTEVT-affiliated certificate is recognized across Nepal’s hospitality and food industry. Employers in hotels, restaurants, catering companies, and bakeries accept it as proof of professional training. If you plan to pursue further vocational or diploma education, this certificate also supports that path within the CTEVT system.

Career Opportunities After Bakery Training

Job Opportunities in Nepal

Nepal’s hospitality industry is one of the fastest-growing sectors in the country. Hotels, restaurants, cafes, and catering companies across Kathmandu, Pokhara, and other major cities are actively looking for trained bakers. The demand for quality baked goods is rising rapidly as more cafes and patisseries open across Nepal. A certified baker with practical skills can expect a starting salary ranging from fifteen thousand to twenty-five thousand rupees per month, with strong growth as experience builds.

Many of our graduates started with short-term skill courses in Nepal and used that foundation to grow into full-time careers in the hospitality industry.

Start Your Own Bakery Business

Many of our graduates have chosen the entrepreneurship route, and the results speak for themselves. With baking skills, basic equipment, and a phone to take orders through social media, you can start a home bakery from your own kitchen.

Birthday cakes, custom cakes, muffins, cookies, and brownies are always in demand. Several of our past students started taking home orders while still waiting for their SEE results and have since built steady income streams from their own small bakery businesses.

Opportunities Abroad

The Gulf hospitality sector is one of the biggest employers of trained food professionals from Nepal. Countries like Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait have large hotel and restaurant industries that actively recruit Nepali workers with recognized certifications.

A CTEVT certificate in bakery training strengthens your foreign employment application and gives you a credential that employers abroad recognize and value.

“After the course, I started taking cake orders from home. I posted photos on social media and within three months I had more orders than I could handle alone. Frequently Asked Questions

Can I join without SEE results?

Yes, absolutely. You do not need your SEE result to enroll. As long as you have appeared for the SEE exam, you are eligible. Starting your training before results come out is actually the smartest move because you will have your certificate ready by the time college admissions begin.

Will this affect my further studies?

No, it will not. The course runs for three months and fits within the gap between SEE and the start of plus two. Many of our students have completed this training and gone on to pursue plus two or other academic programs without any conflict. In fact, having a vocational certificate only strengthens your overall profile.

Do I need prior experience?

Not at all. This course is built from the ground up for complete beginners. You do not need to have ever baked anything in your life. We start from the very basics and guide every student step by step. Our instructors are experienced in teaching first-time bakers and the small class size means you get the attention you need to progress with confidence.
